Whisky Reviews for Longrow 1987 MI
5 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 92.00 points
- Sweet, complex. Absolutely stunning. Ashes, wet hay and the sweetest, most complex smokey notes you can imagine. Chalk, gravel. Could smell this for hours. Artichoke. Perfect in it's imperfection. With water: wet wool, wet dogs, wet lamas. Austere, mineral, ink.
- Tasting Notes:
- Serge gave it 95 points, describing it as his favourite expression from Longrow by far.
- Simply great. One of the best whiskies I have ever tasted.
Intensive and delicate. A combination of peat, fruit (passion fruit), heather and lemon zest.
Balanced and clean. Peat, smoke, smoked fish, liquorice and hints of oak.
Very long and intensive. Sea spray, liquorice and long lasting smoke from a peat fire.
