Here, the barrel has worked properly and leaves clear associations with grapes. Very good drinkable without water.

Good! I expected too much here. Nevertheless it is a beautiful, very boistering Irishman.
Fits the autumnal weather, but can certainly fall under the grape groves in the summer.
Teeling is hoping for the future of Irish whisky.
Marketing and quality are amazing at IMHO.
They appeal to young and old, connoisseurs, connoisseurs and party people.
Fancy drinks meet exquisite tastings and fabulous single cask bottlings.
The concept seems to work. Thanks for that, like more!
    • Nose
Dark, sweet and extremely heavy. In contrast to other single casks (White Burgundy / Madeira), the alcohol does not bump into the face and nose. Not at all or very discreet. A gentle "caressing" is probably the most likely to happen.
The typical, with me beloved Teeling malt note is here very quickly in the nose.
Hay and straw are beautiful components that I can discover here.
Also a citrus appeal and a subtle, floral seduction is elegant to perceive.
A touch of the really strong wine, paired with vanilla come after some time to the validity and round off the fruity, malty nose.
    • Taste
Wow. Enormously creamy and powerful, the Irishman starts. Delicately alcoholic approach.
Dark grapes and creme brulee paired with other, very fine dark fruits and ripe apples.
Creamy pudding and lightly charred wood play with caramelized sugar and malt along the palate.
It is clearly noticeable that this whisky brings a dryness. The influence of the wine clearly stands out here.
The taste is "boisterous" and "wild". Quite different from the others in the latest SC series.
The grape is great and comes after some time very elegant in the palate to advantage.
    • Finish
      Unfortunately also "only" medium-long.
Grape and fine malt remain on the palate.

This was a very very disappointing H2H for me, in fact it was dire. The only conclusion I can honestly come up with is that Teeling Whisky is rubbish, and almost tasteless and obviously the quality/price ratio is off the scale in a negative way.
As the ages increased the quality dipped.
I usually like Irish Whisky but Teeling needs suing under the Trade Descriptions Act, I have had £10 blends that were better than these 7 offerings.

For what it is worth, here are the average scores, tasted in this order.

The nose is similar to the 2017 & 2018 Brabazon bottles being light and even more distant, all I get is white and yellow gummy bears on the nose.
White fruits & tropical fruits on the palate with some coconut but after a minute or so the fruit is bitter or rather unripe being a better description.
The nose is non existent the palate gets really light
White fruits on the palate with water, and some fizziness but there is little depth to this and the finish is almost tasteless but pleasantly warming I suppose.
Not worth a purchase that is for sure
