Corn (popcorn), caramel, apricots, peach, candy, red fruit, coconuts, franigpanne and some vanilla.
    • Taste
      86 86
Apricots, peach, vanilla, fried bananas, speculaas, cinnamon, frangipanne, some pepper, brown sugar and licorice.

Short to medium length. Frangipanne, licorice, banana and some herbs linger for a while.

      Delicious, especially for the price!

This bottle of whiskey is quite what I expected.
I would like to thank Taiwan again for its import policy on spirits, this bottle of Kentucky's 10yo good thing is only 1199 NTD in Taiwan, how wonderful...!
The following records its performance, I really like it.

88 points for taste, +1 point for price, 89 points in total.

    • Nose
      Amazing scent, my current favorite.
Loaded with caramel baked pudding, vanilla, butterscotch, wood, popcorn, some banana peels, baked apples, spices.
Without the harshness of alcohol, a very pleasant sweetness.
The scent is so good, I can smell it all night without getting tired of it.
    • Taste
Caramel as the main body, accompanied by a burst of warmth.
When the warmth gradually subsided, the sweetness of vanilla, banana, apple, pear and other fruits began to appear behind the caramel, as well as the spiciness of caramel wood and pepper.
The point is that it's rich enough, unlike other bourbons that are watery at the mouth.
The whole thing is a very rich and sweet popcorn concentrate.
    • Finish
Much like caramel-flavored popcorn, with a hint of salt and burnt wood, it lasts very long.
So comfortable in the throat, what an excellent bottle of bourbon.

Why not? Not too young and desend balance and depth. Worth the price I guess. More like these ones. And 45% thumbs up!
    • Nose
Nice doughiness, distant apricot, cacao and caramel, rich soft vanilla custard, oak in the backround coming stronger, sweet mint, eucalyptus, nice spices.
    • Taste
Right away clear strong attack but not too biting. Reminds me a little bit of malt fron Scottish highlands at young age and cask strenght. Balance is good, not clear rye, almost malty a bit.
    • Finish
Cacao and popcorn in the end. And after while little autumn leafes from the ground. Very nice package!

Long but bitter woody. Unpleasant for me.

The nose is much more complex to the taste, which is a bit disappointing, although well balanced aside from the slightly sour finish I expected much more from a Kentucky 10-year-old
    • Nose
      88 88
Vanilla, honey, marzipan, dark old wood, cake icing, banana peel, cooked banana, orange peel, walnuts, and boiled sweets
    • Taste
      70 70
Toffee, caramel, black pepper, almonds, and apple
    • Finish
      75 75
Light Pepper spice with slight sour oranges with a medium finish length

Tasted first in sbs with Elijah Craig Small Batch (store pick), and Makers 46.
    • Nose
      80 80
Burnt char, light honey, peanut dust
    • Taste
      81 81
Caramel, salted peanuts, light chocolate flecks
    • Finish
      81 81
      Short, something briney, almonds

    Colour: Pale to medium brown.
Nose: Brown banana cake, banana, dried orange peel, bourbon vanilla, walnuts, caramel, dark sweet wood, darker forest honey and a touch of alcohol. Water doesn’t change the nose (88p).
Taste: Slight sweetness, a noticeable alcohol burn, mild pepperiness. With water it becomes milder, rounder and more creamy but the pepperiness also becomes more noticeable in the aftertaste. (82p).
More complex, balanced and simply better on the nose than on the palate.
    Total score 85 points.

Joa, a good standard bourbon, who seems to lack the 10% perfection and cut in terms of alcoholic drinks, to make more of it, 10Y are not at all bad for Bourbon ...
    • Nose
Hachja, unfortunately, the common adhesive note of the Bourbons can not be denied here, as in 85% of all Bourbons to 60 €, otherwise Orangeat, candy, vanilla, toffee, apricot and vllt. a few other yellow fruits after a while, honey
    • Taste
Toffee sweets with orange pieces in it, vanilla, cinnamon, honey en masse, but also light alcohol piercing for 45%, too bad, apple peel and citrus notes
    • Finish
Already slightly peppery with the orange and toffee remaining, rather sour orange now, medium long
