N: Fruity, even a bit waxy maybe. Is this really ex-sherry?!
Spices and nuts are far in the background. Dried apricots and other yellow and other fruits, candied fruit, mandarin. With water: even more fruitty.
Taste: Spicy arrival, it keeps stinging your toungue like a needle. But in a (somehow) nice and gentle way.
Fruits ofcourse, a lot again. Citrus and yellow fruit.
A drop of water kills the stinging peppers brings out more fruit. Some nuts. Makes it creamier too.
F: Gentler than expected. Not as spicy anymore. Some oak, without getting dry. Sweet taste of the fruit remains.
This whisky is full of fruit, without the excess vanilla you would get from an ex-bourbon cask. Tasty!
