This needs a LOT of time... but it`ll reward you. Transferring previous Note (2011.12.11) content into a Tasting Note.
First: green grapes & (unripe) net melon, dusty white chocolate/couverture, oak (maybe a tad too much), a tad mineral, vanilla, also some grassy-ness, malt, cinamon, (85) Later: turns sweeter after a bit, now as well notes of coconut, vanille kipferl dough, canned peaches, lemon & honey, a sprinkle of rose water, oak integrates much better, (88)
quite alcoholic feel, malt, honey, distant bees wax and a bit mineral, (83) Later (+60mins): alc seems to have retreated, now a very nice upfront fruit & vanilla sweetness plus some malt and the right portion of wood spices (90)
then some red apples, more honey and a bit of wax, some cereals, vanilla, (85) some very pleasant faint & elegant notes standing for a while if given enough time and a fresh palate. If these come through = (89). But these seem to be a bit fickle... Later: now coconut here as well, the fickle notes develop and come to the fore, but not much complexities going on as before, even though (or because) they were faint, rather a pleasant fade out. (88) Much later: there`s even some nice beeswax & pepper. (92)
