Abv. 43%, first fill Sherry Butts
Nose: dry with fine woody spiciness, a minimal touch of sulfur, but not disturbing, although I'm sensitive there, a few more percent would have done the somewhat light nose certainly good, remains of a mint tea, Physalis I often have with slightly sulphurous whiskys
Taste: significantly more sulfur, carbon dioxide, old mineral water, slightly musty, little sherry sweetness, delicately bitter chocolate with cocoa coating, plum chutney
Departure: long and tannic from the European oak, a hint of bitter almond, unfortunately quite simple though medium long
Conclusion: Yes you can have tried, but you do not have. Unfortunately, we are not friends and at the price you can certainly treat yourself to something else. Maybe I also approached this drop too high an expectation.
