The fruity and heavy port aroma is wonderful! A delicious Mortlach, tastes extremely delicious!
    • Nose
Wonderful portsweet floats out of the glass. The sweet fruit mixes with a fine cherry flavor. The alcohol is slightly sprittig but very harmoniously involved. Orange flavors come from the increasing alcohol. An extreme fruitiness dominates the nose. Delicious!
    • Taste
A dry barley aroma dominates the first impression. Dark and heavy grain aroma mixes with the pleasant fruitiness. Slightly bitter wood aromas arise. Dry fruit becomes spicy and heavy. The taste is hard to describe but is wonderful.
    • Finish
Again this heavy fruit aroma. Slightly bitter the finish exudes a chubby fruit aroma which is always "warmer". Spicy wood dominates, creating a fine walnut flavor.

Nose: fleshy, sweet notes, cardboard, cherry sherry.
Taste: At the first approach, quite a lot of spices and accents of oilyness. However, after a while, we can see meat notes and elements of sweets, chocolate and buckwheat honey. In the next approach, it becomes creamy in taste.
Rating: 88 100 Kill the long meat chocolate. Very nice whisky. The price of the bottle is adequate to the quality.

A malt with a lot of port wine influence. I like these sweet and fruity flavors over and over again. A very tasty malt. However, he does not knock me off the stool. I'm missing something, maybe a bit more complexity, but I can not say it exactly.
    • Nose
A very fruity nose right from the beginning, fresh strawberries, lots of cherries and other red fruits, a little alcohol, wine gum, a lot of port wine influence, quite sweet and a little reserved. Oranges. I am struggling to find more aromas, something earthy / greasy in the background I can not quite match, is covered by the Portaromen, a few spices such as pepper and nutmeg
    • Taste
very fruity, a good portion of spice, oak, slight bitterness spreads, well integrated alcohol, creamy, lots of port, slightly sour
    • Finish
medium long, there is something tingling, again sour, dark chocolate, Mon Cherie, cherries, oak, some speculoos

Delicious. Mortlach and Port go well together. The malt is really sweet, but leaves the other flavors enough space to not become one-dimensional. With water, the malt opens and becomes even more aromatic.
    • Nose
a beautiful, dark sweetness is in the nose; strongly reminiscent of red, ripe fruits; the port influence is there too; Add to this typical Mortlach dirty / greasy and slightly salty note; the alcohol is there, but not unpleasant, it underlines the existing notes; in time it becomes more and more fruity and sweeter; with water it gets a little spicier and the port influence becomes clearer; likewise the Mortlach muff gets stronger
    • Taste
creamy; bitter, sweet and spicy at the same time; the alcohol is very well integrated; red fruits again little by little the sweetness supplants the other flavors and makes it even creamier; the port is also back; with water it gets a little spicier again but it still stays nice and sweet
    • Finish
medium; MonCherie, it stays really sweet on the palate; spicy oak is there as well as a few spices; again port wine; At the end, the oak presses briefly again; with water it becomes much sweeter and spicier; even more oak and port

Can you already say ... Port bomb :-). In the nose very fruity, red fruits (especially cherry) ... in the mouth I find it even better, because he is a bit complex ...
