    The nose suggests a fruit brandy rather than a whisky. The apricot paired with the nut note to please, the alcohol disturbs a little. The impression continues in the mouth, tastes good, but not like whisky. The finish comes closest to a whisky. This is not whisky in my opinion, if then a very young, maybe under three years. It tastes good, after 10 years in the barrel could be something out of it. blind tasting So, in fact, a whisky, and matured for 10 years. He falls through unfortunately, even if I feel quite enjoyable while drinking. The expectation of one whisky is different.
    • Nose
      very fruity, apricot, a light alcoholic stinging, a bit nutty, almond and marzipan, in the background a light herbal note
    • Taste
      Very strong onset, glow on the tongue, again fruit, apricot, slightly sour, but also a little sweet, light bitterness, but no oak
    • Finish
      Warming, the alcohol gives way, the fruits are more mature, a little sweeter and heavier than in the taste.

    Ok, I'm open to young and fruity mums, but this one hides his 10 years well. Could be only 1 or 2 ... A delicious Young Malt ... but there is whisky and 10 years on it. That was nothing.
    • Nose
      Fruity, grape seeds, cereals, mash, yeast, seasoning and the alcohol stands out easily. It's pretty cute. Somehow New Make-up. With a lot of water he becomes sweet-sweet, does not sting any more, but the mashy and young fruity new make-like remains.
    • Taste
      Pure quite violent, the alcohol makes you very warm, with a hint of mash, tart, fruity, some licorice, a little bit of bitterness. The water becomes bitter without end.
    • Finish
      harsh, mashy, yogurt, short, fruity, bitter.

    Absolutely fascinating, despite 10 years of age it tastes and smells like a typical new make. And now and then I really like something like that. Extremely fruity, slightly metallic, flowery perfume, berry-like, but very fresh and summery. As you can see, Jura has a really great new make, too bad that it is all too often unrecognizable by barrel management and dilution to 40%. Delicious schnapps!
