    everything connects well
the distillery character and the sherry barrel
the age is good to perceive no pasting with wet sherry barrel finish - just a nice connection a real pleasure
    • Nose
Leather, raisins, chamomile, rose petals, toffee, strong sweetened black tea, and the typical grapefruit note of Littlemill smells old and well matured, beautiful intense notes that fit well, the nose is constantly changing, now it is just sweeter, even a slight hint of sulfur
    • Taste
slightly acidic tingling onset, complex with pronounced earthy sherry notes and dried fruit on leather, sulfur,
Grapefruit, a little ethereal bergamot Bitter oak with grapefruit stays on the palate
the more sips I take, the more grapefruit comes into focus
    • Finish
      long
Oak and sherynoten on the palate
then intensively long and clearly tingling Littlemill grapefruit

The barrel has marked the whisky, but fresh Littlemill behind it is still recognizable. The smell radiates age and maturity. In the mouth and the finish, the oak is more dominant, but not the sherry, although this is always present. The whisky is like an older man, drawn from life, sour, bitter, gone through hard times. The story is exciting and I like to listen. The Littlemill always remains recognizable. The sherry barrel shows more of the wood than the sherry. A special whisky.
    • Nose
Freshly pressed orange, some grapefruit, then immediately dry sherry, caramel, leather, oak, with time it gets tart, old and ripe, a hint of green apple, sour
    • Taste
Strong onset, hot on the tongue, slightly astringent, sour, sherry, then a little sulfur, again some grapefruit, light bitterness, but also dark fruits. In the second sip, the grapefruit becomes stronger.
    • Finish
dry oak, again astringent, almost no sweetness anymore, the wood dominates, bitterness and still a bit sour, also here a hint of sulfur, medium to long

A lot of Sherry Cask, but on the verge, but a lot of alcoholism and it interferes, but overall not bad!
