Slightly alcoholic, very strong sherry notes, some milk chocolate, oranges, leather and a pleasant oak flavor.

Extremely powerful start with 60.9 turns. Dominant sherry notes, cherries, dates and cocoa and coffee beans open up the tremendous taste explosion. It is followed by oranges, a touch of vanilla / caramel, red fruits and a neat nuttiness, paired with spicy oak notes. Without water, the whisky, depending on the shape of the day, for me quite good drinkable. When adding a few drops of water, however, you should be careful with the dosage, as the Aberlour tends quickly to "dilute" and thus easily lose its intense aromas variety.

Medium length, fruity sherry notes, caramel and spicy oak notes accompany the finish. Some bittersweet chocolate and orange peel complete the harmonious finish.
