It's a blend? What a tour de force. A beautiful presence and a discharge of spices very respectable. A posteriori, I would say that only the final can betray the presence of grain.
    Enthusiasm 4/5 Whiskey n ° 1558
    • Nose
Prune, cooked wine: sherry develops. Chocolate. The nut stands out.
    • Taste
Strong on sherry but delicate to the touch. Melted texture, sign of age. Woody and well spiced.
    • Finish
      Easy enough.

Somehow it was strange, it seemed to me like a rather chaotic mix, not like my favorite blends that are more of a new total work of art, it has no bad note per se, but I have a bit too much oak and I lack something of my own statement. Very autumnal, somewhat short finish for the age. Upper midfield, if you include price and age, you can deduct 2 points from the final grade above.
    • Nose
Has in its buttery intensity almost something of a high-quality, ancient single grain, apricot syrup, dark butter, honey, some figs, but also a little red apple in between, tick leather, brown sugar, mandarin with a little acid too, smells like some more than 46 , 5%, milk chocolate, tick nutmeg, quite interesting, it looked very hearty and buttery at the beginning, but it always changes its character with more freshness in between
    • Taste
Clear cherries, so not at all in the nose, sweet and juicy plums with tick jam already in it, but then also clear oak tones from the age in the barrel, crispy oak, crispy malt, brown sugar, a little red and also green apple, orange with some Christmas spice, cinnamon, clove, some autumn leaves behind, a total of 30% sweet and fruity at the start and 70% dry behind, but without being too bitter
    • Finish
The leather is added, now more bitter chocolate, nutmeg, oak, medium length, somewhat short for the age, not inspiring

    Wonderful. 91 points.
    • Nose
Sweet fruits. Apricots, tangerines. Sweet leather. Light woody chocolate.
    • Taste
Sweet and juicy. Trendy cherries and dates. Leather. Subtle wood. Fermented fruit in the dessert.
    • Finish
      Long, leathery, fruity. Tobacco.

Orange prune spices chocolate, a touch of gunpowder, these boutique y blended whisky are generally of very high quality as far as I can tell

Very nice. But nothing that I really need a bottle for now. I expected something more.
