Great grassy Bowmore, wouldn't say too complex, but delivers a very strong peppery kick every step of the way: nose, palate, finish; like an alcoholic lemonade... color is as close to a...Chardonnay from Chablis let's say. Reminds me on the nose preeetty closely to the 1964 15yo St Magdalene bottling, again by Cadenhead, but no matter that the Bowmore is not being as complex as the Linlithgow on the palate, i would take the Bowmore most days of the year instead.
Even though it's not entirely in my taste category, i must rate this as high as i can.
Let this one breathe for a while though and don't be afraid if there is some evaporation in the bottle before you open it. This one will definitely deliver it's peppery wildness.
Try it, even as a mini!
