I am starting to appreciate the Irish triple distilled and it certainly contributes to that. I bought it ridiculously cheap for 22 €, but you will normally pay a little more. A typical Irish that you should definitely try considering its price.
    • Nose
      81 81
Soft, creamy, sherry tones are quickly on top. Furthermore, some spicy spiciness. Citrus. Also oak and grain.
    • Taste
      80 80
The softness of the triple distilled and hearty but soft spiciness only comes into its own in the back of the mouth. Sherry and fruit, some mint and slightly spicy herbs. Maybe light pepper (mint).
    • Finish
      80 80
Medium with especially sherry / oak / herbs.

A rather middle of the road James, I have to confess. Does little for me.
    • Nose
Soft but very creamy nose on citrus, heather, honey and coconut. The grain in the mix is clearly discernable, as is the sherry matured whiskey. Oats with a leaf of mint on the one hand, spices from the oak and yellow fruit on the other. But all of it very soft, to be honest.
    • Taste
The arrival is very light, almost watery, which is a bit of a disappointment after the creamy nose. Sweet and spicy, sherry and yellow fruit again, joined by some spices like cloves and cinnamon. Citrus becomes big. Reminds me a bit of bourbon, with a floral edge from violets. Some toasted oak.
    • Finish
The finish is medium long on spices and sherry.

This is spicier and richer in flavor than the ordinary Jameson. Tones of sherry, wood, fruit and chocolate end in a soft aftertaste

Correct price / value ratio. Good balances: sherry / bourbon, sweet / sour.
    • Nose
Soft. Sherry and bourbon are palpable. Candy-floss and punch. Touch of oak and spices.
    • Taste
Sherry's start, then fruits, oak and spices. Later bourbon and citruses.
    • Finish
      Medium length, sherry and spices.
