The sherry is very prominent, and it has nice mix with a bit of citrus.
The sherry finish does well, there's some sweetness and sour, hints of vanilla. Drinks very smooth!
Medium-long finish, dry, citrus with light hing of vanilla.
- Perfect to drink without adding water.
Light in sherry and a little smoke. Sour apple freshness. Good sweet and sour mix. No tickling alcohol (54.7%).
Wow !!! Surprisingly more sherry and sweetness than expected. Good body and balance. Light spices but not peppery. Nice touch of vanilla, fruits and caramel. More malt and light nutty.
Medium finish, sweet, spicy, drying out and nutty.
- Sample. Very nice. The restrained sherry influence hints at a refill butt, and it works beautifully.
Restrained sherry, fruity, tropical & citrusy, nicely balanced.
Sweet and sour, still a restrained sherryness, raisin-nut mix.
Medium-long. Sweet and savoury. Nutty and almost smoky.
- A cool part. With the best I have drunk from Arran. Big cinema. Too bad that it does not exist anymore.
Great, balanced sherry nose. Not too much, not too little. Unfortunately, the alcohol comes through a bit too much.
Here the sherry comes through more. In addition an island flavor. Slightly dirty and stormy. Very, very dry.
Dark fruits, again a barrage of dry sherry. Spices.
- Less obviously sherried than cask 368 for The Nectar, but sweeter nevertheless. Fino?
Vanilla pudding, peach, caramel, printen in chocolate, cherry, plum, apple and oak. With water also apple.
Toffee, apple, peach, vanilla pudding, cherry and malt. Water releases hazelnut.
Toffee, apple, peach, vanilla pudding, pithaya, hazelnut and malt.
- Review is from a sample.
