Nice whisky. In the beginning he comes in hard. A long finish that gets richer and more complicated.

A solid, medium heavy spirited, but fruity dram!
    • Nose
Quite a firm nose with ample cereal and fruit notes. Cinnamon rolls, danish pastry, honeyed cereal, tangerine and apricot. Then influence of the wood, with coconut shavings, and polished chesterfields. In the end, grass and mint show.
    • Taste
Full-bodied, fruity and cereal driven. Chocolate croissants, apricot jam, tangerine zest, with some mild bitterness from the wood. This is accompanied nu pepper and coconut. Then, these is mint tea in the sun.
    • Finish
Slightly hot from pepper, but otherwise still quite rounded. The fruit, cereals are still there. The wood tot blogger, but that is not abnormal.

This needed taming with a dash of water and it turns out to be a very decent dram.
    • Nose
Some sort of apple soap or shampoo, a summer meadow, there is a sweaty sock in there somewhere and pear skins.
    • Taste
Quite astringent even with a little water, tinned fruit juice, bitter green apples, like a granny Smith and honey nut shredded wheat.
    • Finish
A medium finish with lots more apples and pears.

Orange, apple and honey. Whiffs of malt and vanilla. Rather peppery as well initially, but that's gone when adding water.
    • Taste
      86 86
More malt. Honey, apple, wine gum, orange, vanila and a little caramel.
    • Finish
      85 85
Apple, vanilla, honey, tangerine, almond, wine gum, malt and cocoa.

Delicious fresh & fruity in the nose. Then spicy & then serve the alcohol vapors. That will soon be less when the glass is momentary. At the first cautious sip the aforementioned flavors return more powerfully. Pretty firm finish with traces of salt drop. An excellent, powerful dram. Do take a quiet rest.

On the nose it has a punchy lemon start. Together with nectarines and butter notes. When it warms up it develops in more overripe fruits and becomes a little grassy.

On the palate it enters quite spicy and it's a little bitter. Then the oranges, grassy and ginger notes follow. It ends with the more salty buttery note. The finish is middle long.

Not easy to drink this one. But if you try, you get rewarded. A very versatile fruitbomb. A worthy addition to the x0,000 bottles on the wall series.
    • Nose
Pretty 'hot' at first. With that I mean alcoholic and peppery. Not very pleasant and something you have to go through, let's hope it changes with time. And indeed the hotness slightly disappears within minutes. I think a combination of 'breathing'time and your nose adjusting. What comes in place for the hotness is... an Awesome Fuitiness. Suddenly I'm holding a real fruitbomb! Something tropical there with pineapples and melons combined with citrus fruits. All the fruit is balanced with a rich maltiness. A very versatile nose!
    • Taste
Still quite hot in the mouth (some big sips will fix that for you), showing some imbalance in the spirit. Taste is fruity (more pineapple), malty and peppery. Mouthfeel as said is quity spicy (hot). Not very smooth, but it is attractive and interesting.
    • Finish
      Surprisingly long and fruity.

Quick note, first dram from the bottle: friendly, creamy and juicy. A good combo of sweet and sour. Think of confectionery, candied cherry, vanilla ice cream, grass, flowers and at the finishalso soft spices.

Good stuff. A more extensive review will follow later.
