    Well, he is not uncomfortable, but not pleasant. Personally, I find him not too bitter, rather too sweet to start. What I do not like so much is this medical touch. OK, I would not buy it, not even for 30, - €.
    • Nose
      Acts immediately after pouring extremely herbaceous, funny cough drops with wood fire. Only after a while, sweet notes mix under the hay. Fennel honey and Appelgriepsch, remains medically in the overall impression. The wood fire always comes after weaning of the glass and occupies the nose, peculiar effect, the malt itself seems to be smoke-free. When heated, the alcohol stings something in the nose, the apple gnaw gets a bit foul, vanilla and yeast come on. Raw cake dough.
    • Taste
      Bappig sweet first, very strong onset, a lot of white pepper, the apple is there and then again the herbs. The mouthfeel is quite full. When the burning stops, there is also a slightly bitter tannin charge in the back. You really feel reminded of Mary Poppins: When a spoonful of sugar sweetens you the medicine ...
    • Finish
      The sweetness is gone first, the tannins last a little longer, it also warms up very well. Overall, rather short to medium in length, dries off easily. But he does not seem bitter.

    Hm. Benriach CS, I was looking forward to it. The description says "creamy, delicate ... orchard fruits, vanilla, coconut, sweet barley". May be in there somewhere, but I can not really find between wood and bite and bitter, without totally drowning him. It's oddly chosen and strangely described, and anyone expecting a typical young (fresh) bourbon barrel whisky is on the wrong track. And 60-70 € ... does not work.

      needs water, otherwise it stings and tickles too much in my nose ... dry, a lot of white pepper, tart herbs, grass, sawdust, wooden pencil ... behind it a little vanilla and cereals, but the dry-spicy-kräutrige predominates

    an ageless strength cask, so young!

      Mixed fruits and spices, fruit on apple, pear, then apricot, so it's really young, wood, but a little dry and herbs back.
    • Taste
      it stings !
      the woody comes to lessen a little, but not enough, more diffuse scents on white fruits, yellow, spices return more on pepper, it's gone, but it remains there, back vanilla and malty almost obvious.
    • Finish
      the alcohol could have led to believe more intense scents, more catchy, but no, simple final, and the same aromas seen in the mouth.

    Beautiful nose, mouth and finish can not compete. Good drinkable, but no Nachkaufkantidat.

      Vanilla, caramel, for 57% low alcohol, some tropical fruits (possibly coconut), later subtle herbs

      Strong, spicy, now you can clearly see the alcohol, vanilla, oak, some herbs. With water: significantly milder, sweetness of honey and fruits, dark chocolate
    • Finish
      Medium long, becomes drier. Quite bitter, espresso. Somehow unbalanced towards the end.

    Yeah, the nose without water is great. In the taste then it needs water, otherwise not much comes next to the alcohol. The finish is again better without water. Overall nice, unfortunately he can not hide his youth.

      A nice bourbon nose comes out of the glass. Yes, is there something like that? And there's lemon, toffee, oak and eucalyptus with snow ... vanilla, caramel and apple jelly. With water goes too.
    • Taste
      The taste is vanilla sugar with a lot of oak. An oak cake, if you take it very carefully. Slightly spicy from the alcohol. With eau de crane is already too mild. But fits. Vanilla, oak and now comes the youth .... oh the youth ....

      Huiuiuiuiui, there comes the Borubonfass but again afterwards, yes gentlemen, is that to believe? Oak is still there with water, but the power is missing. Hmmmm ... without water he likes me better in the finish. There was this brute bourbon barrel that my throat is rolled down.

    There are a few things in there that I could actually like, I have nothing against herbs, coffee and burnt may already be, but overall I'm too vague, bitter, hot, with water, I get it not really delicious. No € 60 offense for me. Edit: Just look, I already had, there are already notes of mine down there - yes, conclusion fits, that's not mine.

      strong, dry, sawdust, white pepper, cereals ... then a little sweeter, first vanilla, then herbaceous-tart, not quite as sweet as herbal sweets, rather hay with many herbs, from the nose I just do not need to clean the water that's okay
    • Taste
