Mouth: Powerful, not as sweet as expected, more citrusy, mineral and surprisingly elegant. Slender in style, even though sweet vanilla comes up, which is then quickly replaced by earthy, dingy notes. There are no more lavender tones (at the end of the 1980's he took this in many bottlings significantly), the smoke and the alcohol well integrated, but with peppery pungency and some licorice.
Finish: Long, but now thinned slightly, plant-like and with very fine smoke.
Conclusion: A nice malt, with a pleasant nose, the taste is the end but always characterless. Good, but not optimal. https://whiskycuse.wordpress.com/
