super drink a fresh grass after a rain shower vanilla a slightly bitter followed by a sweet sweet!

Tasting Notes: Nose: Sweet, vanilla, almonds, nut nougat cream, coconut, slightly fermented, but is limited. Then there are fruit notes, crumbly apples, bananas, grapefruit and lemons, but also some malt and honey, gradually more and more floral tones. Overall, well balanced, harmoniously matured and still fresh.
Mouth: Full-bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel, sweet, again vanilla, but also with sparkling citrus notes, malt and almonds. After a few seconds on the tongue are dried herbs, a little straw and a fine and elegant woodiness, but at no time goes to the bitter.
Finish: Still sweet and very long, orange peel, nutty and peppery pungency.
Conclusion: I really liked this very powerful and yet balanced whisky, which proves that Glen Grant can have an excellent level even without sherry. Maybe he could have been a bit more complex for the 25 years, otherwise there's nothing to complain about! https://whiskycuse.wordpress.com/

Well this is the best of the range so far. Finally I get a sense of age and complexity (although still very delicate). It needs quite some aeration time to open up fully but your patience is rewarded. There is some layering and complexity here and the development is quite nice.

All in all quite a nice whisky.

This seems to be a split cask with Whiskybroker.co.uk which is available for less than half the price: https://www.whiskybase.com/whisky/71673/glen-grant-1990-whb
