    A very (maybe a little too) sweet whisky.
    I can imagine it goes very well with certain dishes like red meat or chocolate

      Orange fruit, citrus, tangerine, almond,
    • Taste
      Cacao, honey, nougat, caramel, vanilla, raisins and candy (wine-gums)
    • Finish
      Gentle, warm and sweet. Nice balance, a lot of various fruit tones

      wax, oily, old, honey and a toch of smoke
    • Finish
      medium drying with caramel, vanilla, citrus and nuts

    Quite peaty for a Highland Park, but this is enriched by what I expect to have been a refill sherry cask, which adds those notes of leather and red fruits. Great balance, one of the best Highland Parks I have ever tasted.
    • Nose
      Sugared almonds, vanilla sugar, leather, cookies, malt, currants, lime and caramel. After a while the peat kicks in, and if you wait a little longer (especially after adding some water) sherry notes such as cranberry and fudge start popping up.
    • Taste
      Currants, vanilla, peat, almond, leather, dark chocolate, toffee, cigar boxes and tobacco. With a few drops of water also some red fruits like cranberry.
    • Finish
      Peat dust, dark chocolate, vanilla, currants and cigar boxes.
