Lots of cured ham and salted bacon for a start. Followed by burnt wood and bonfires on the beach. Newly tarred roads. Tobacco and some mustardy notes. Touch of smoked salmon and mussels as well. Hints of stewed fruit of plums, figs, and dates in the background.

Now more on sappy and juicy oak intermingled with maritime influences of salt seaweed, bath-salts, and kipper. Followed by earthy peat, anchovies and cough-syrup. Touch of sugared almonds. Black coffee and dark dark chocolate. Beautiful and quite complex.

Medium long. Lapsang Souchong tea with lingering peat. Very satisfying.
