T: Strong, greenish - a nice green, fresh green. A bit dry and,.. well it's corn all the way after that, toasted corn with a sweet menthol note. accompanying. The corn is a tad rough round the edges but I think the rye element puts it on more of an even keel. A little fresher into the finish but always sweet at its core.
F: Waxy corn with a little freshness that softens quickly, mellows even. Long sweetcorn finish
C: Stands up to scrutiny after coming back to it after 5 subsequent drams. So back to the guessing - American aged bourbon whiskey, corn based with a little rye. I really like this whatever it is. Apparently this batch is comprised of 6-16yo rye whiskey that comes from Utah. For £50, its not too shabby if you ask me. Next up No.2: WB
