Ideal for when the hunchbacked relatives come who don't know what to do with whisky.

    Fruity but complex

  4. boomweide scored this whisky 67 points Newbie

Price/quality is very good for a Speyside malt. Specially bottled for Makro. Soft in the mouth.

  5. robse211 scored this whisky 65 points Expert Senior

To get drunk its barely good enough

Got this for my birthday but had been happier with a bottle of JW red.
Beware thou poor masses of ginger ale and coke, you will turn sour and thy bubbles will weep...

  7. Fabian scored this whisky 25 points Expert Senior

I think when they distilled this whisky:
There was something wrong with the water,
There was something wrong with the Barley,
There was something wrong with the yeast,
There was something wrong with the caramel.

Bourbon cask finish! Where was it before it went into the Bourbon cask to be finished?

25 points for the perfect balance.

  8. Glenjasper scored this whisky 66 points Connoisseur

As entry or exit swiskey certainly ne option. Had him worse. The burning stopped. The light vanilla caramel notes also point to a real single malt. I did not recognize the pear taste.

Ideal for a whisky after three beers or when the hunchback relatives come, who can not do anything with whisky.

    Ancestry?

    Speyside. More is not available.

Available everywhere, where there are the small prices.

The 66 points are from me because of the value for money.

    • Nose
Warm, sweet, plum, vanilla and dust.
    • Taste
Sweetness, vanilla, minimal caramel, not so complex, rather boring.
    • Finish
Sweet, harmonious, medium length finish, but not much to discover here.
