Nose: Label says "very soft and rounded" and I coudn't agree more. It is soft and by soft I mean subtle, gentle and discreet. It is rounded and by rounded I mean almost perfectly balanced with no leading tone or nute. In the way it is very generic whisky smell. In a very good way. And there is dried apples nute but it's not leading, it's just there if you want to focus on that nute. Great smell.
BTW: you can try to trace other nutes. Like iodine for example, it is there too, just close your eyes for 10 seconds first (it will sharpen your other senses). Good fun.
Taste: Balanced. Very well balanced. It is so well harmonized that I can not tell particular nute. Label says "sherried, fruity, chocolate, cinnamon, tofee nad ginger". Well, perhaps. If you ask me all those ingredients were so blended that you can not find any of them anymore. Still it is not bad thing. I really like the outcome.
Finish: Label says "warming", I say burning at first. Still it is expectable after such gentle aroma and well balanced taste that you can forget it is whisky. Not too bad.
Overall really good whisky.
