[November, 2002] I had this dram during an "old bottles" tasting in Bonn. In my old rating system (ten scales that translate into WB points: 50
- 66 - 75 - 80 - 82,5 - 85 - 87,5 - 90 - 92,5 - 95) I scored this 75.
My notes state a pale golden colour and a very light texture. The nose is light and smooth with some bittersweet cacao aromas. The mouthfeel is light again but nevertheless with some punchy moments. The taste is quite bitter (bitter almonds) that improves a bit with water added. The finish is rather short and light with some bitterness again.
Glenforres was the french trade name of Edradour. The bottle came in a brown box.
