Whiskey n ° 1673
A little solvent. Vegetable notes such as thyme or pine. It's very special. Orange zest. Warm and dense vanilla. Chocolate.
Very bourbon in spirit, very mellow, simple and dynamic, the integration of alcohol is impeccable.
Fluffy and spicy very beautiful presence.
- Blind tasting
Grain, floral - roses, pine resin and soft spices.
Very creamy, fruity, forest fruits, some Hubba Bubba chewing gum, nutty, saw dust and chocolate.
Nutty, fruity and vanilla.
- This is actually really good at cask strength. Quite a discovery for me.
Compared to the rye, this one is more syrupy and more spicy. The profiles are very similar though.
Cherry and orange. Sour raspberry candy. Resin from virgin oak. Also a little 'rusty' spicy sulphur note as from a beer cask. Later banana, raisin and chocolate. Water adds wood dust.
Spicy. Cherry, sour raspberry candy, orange, banana, dough and grain. Water is not beneficial.
Banana, cherry, orange, raisin, raspberry, spice and grain.
