Taste: dark raisins, dried mushrooms, a lot of pungency and spices, cinnamon, cloves, turmeric, oak-tannin, burnt berry jam.
Finish: enveloping, dark raisins, spicy wood, fading spicy spices, sweet herbal liquor (Jägermeister), berry jam, wood bitterness, brackish. Enveloping, longer than average.
Bottom line: great work barrels! Once again, I am convinced that a good sherry barrel does wonders even at such a young age. For 7 years it turned out very tasty, malt, motifs, spices, raisins, pleasant wood, everything is in balance, the barrel was active and the bottler did not lose that the time for bottling had arrived.
