Whisky Reviews for Old Pulteney 08-year-old GM

3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 81.31 points

  1. Malt Hans scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

    1990's bottling:

Fruity and malty aroma, pear, mango, tea, vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon, honey and hay. Vanilla sweet taste, cinnamon, mint, cardamom, banana and malt. Medium long, malty and fruity end.

  2. MaltMartin scored this whisky 79 points Connoisseur

Not very complex, but still a juicy Old Pulteney.
    • Nose
Fresh fruit. Pear and green apples. Wet grass. Herbal notes. Hints of smoke.
    • Taste
Oily. Quite woody. Sweet maltiness. Peat intermingled with juicy citrus and oranges.
    • Finish
Dry. Oaky and some salt. Mint as well.

  3. Feusi scored this whisky 82 points Connoisseur

Good standard level dram, so we imagine whisky, very similar to the actual 12 yo bottling. Soft and sweet with the typical Highland notes.
