Yet, again a nice expression of Glenrothes. This is quite subtle (maybe even uninteresting) on the nose but on the palate this is lovely, rich and oily. Again this dram needs quite some time to open up and a wee drop of water might help you here.
All in all a light but interesting Glenrothes.

A spicy, sweet and powerful whisky with aromas of white pepper, ginger, anise, fennel, honey, icing sugar, grape seeds, apple, pear, nectarines, berries, tannins, bayleaf, subtle licorice, ghee, olive oil, grass, vanilla and a hint of oak.
A medium and dry finish with aromas of tannins, walnut, grape seed, honey, fennel seeds, bitter almond, hint of mint and a hint of oak.
