Sherry dream but more of the Glenfarclas 40yo than the Glendronach style, very exciting, very tasty, barrel-dominated - that could be any distillery that can produce a virtually smoke-free distillate
    • Nose
      93 93
A very complex nose - the first impression also goes a bit towards Grain (50yo +) or Cognac (40yo ++)

sweet forest berries, pomegranate juice with a delicious metallic note with delicate sulfur deposits - no youth and no Stinkfehlnote, some burnt paper - if you smell the charred places - noble, yummy. Fine balsamic or tartaric acid, tobacco leaves with vanilla, wax and pleasant furniture polish, wood stain on natural oil basis, then comes more and more very smooth, lush, voluminous heavy sherry, he does not displace the other flavors - but he fills the scenery, this cocoa,
At the edge there are hidden citrus notes, lemon zest, orange juice, bergamot, sweet lilac blossoms, chrysanthemums, geranium leaves, jasmine

the nose develops from bitter to a symphony of flowers and retro refill sherry without junk notes
    • Taste
      94 94
full-bodied sherry, with lively sweetness balance, delicate bitter oak notes, coffee with a lot of cream, dark chocolate, licorice, liquorice, malt candy, cinnamon, cloves, tree sap, tropical wood shavings, leather aromas - but no fuzziness or dryness, tobacco and pepper but very supple and without burning , Beautiful diverse wood flavors show up when chewing.
    • Finish
      93 93
long - very long, fine dark oak, Christmas spices, dark sweet sherry, blackberries, blueberries, cherries, beeswax - sweet and bitter dancing on the tongue

Which is difficult to evaluate because of the freaky mushroom note, even if you can not get rid of mushrooms at a 88, but everything still looks very noble and merges into each other.
    • Nose
Rumrosines, dark tobacco, figs, pickled raspberries, dark honey, blood orange, sherry, black cherry, noble leather, cedarwood, Demerara sugar, sweet licorice, butterpopcorn, some vanilla in noble chocolate, nice dark and deep
    • Taste
Pipe tobacco, rum-raisins, joss sticks, blood orange and dark honey, figs and liquorice, brown sugar and chocolate, then suddenly a mushroom mushroom grows like a house and takes over all the rest of the taste
    • Finish
Boletus, cep, licorice, some dark malt, very dry, long, porcini mushroom
