The nose is just superbe! I love this style, it's like the 2 other '70 Springers It tasted 3 weeks ago. At this age 12-20yo the spirits is still there. In this one it's for sure there is a lot older whisky in it than 12yo.

EDIT 24/07/2020. The bottle is emptied out after 2 years. It was pleasing but not the 91 from fist.
    Giving it an 88 overal.
Now you can see the difference between a sample and a whole bottle!
(I think my sample was from another botteling though)
    • Nose
Fresh tropical (stone) fruits, mineral touch like very calm sea breeze or wet stone or a mix of it. Dunnage warehouse! Sweet. Occasionally a hint of soft peat? This is really really great! 91
    • Taste
Starts fresh and becomes heavier and fuller, creamier. The fruits are less tropical but very full, slides over the tongue. Soft mint, Very quaffable.  91
    • Finish
Long, mouth coating, tropical fruit (stone fruits). Half way the dram the tongue and mouth is layerd with a thick soft mouth feel. Just lovely 91

http://kaypingers-whiskyblog.de/frontend/fullarticle.php?id=196 Color: Full gold with a delicate copper content
Nose: Much spicier than its predecessor - the fruity notes are overlaid by sherry aromas. Smoke, dull leather, velvet and paper are added. Tart orange, fine honey and salty nuts.
Taste: Fat and creamy, with full spice! Dull fruit notes packed in a leather box with honey, salt, nuts and wax. In addition fresh herbs, Eucalyptus, mint and Chinagras. Classically integrated wood accompanies the palette into the finish.
Finish: Long, fresh and spicy! Dry wood, leather, smoke and subordinate fruits lead the finish towards mocha and chocolate notes.
    92 points (nose: 92 / taste: 92 / finish: 91)
