Nose: Beautiful sweet scent of peach, pear, vanilla, and slightly salty - phenolic. The combination is simple but wonderful.
Palate: Soft, very sweet, slightly salty, peach, a little oak, sweet vanilla, bitter - sweet.
Finish: Bitter - sweet, delicate oak notes, slightly salty.
Remarks: Nowadays very expensive but in his time he had a good price - performance ratio. The used bourbon barrels leave room for the distillery character and it is really good. No over turned wine aromas make this whisky beautiful slim and pure. The Cellar 13 is for me only topped by the "Traditional 100 Proof". Cellar 13 is the warehouse closest to the ocean.
I have 89 points.
