Whisky Reviews for Ledaig 2005 DL
6 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 87.17 points
- We can say that it’s not as dirty and aggressive as many Icemen, but at the same time it’s very powerful and juicy in taste
- Nice, light bodied Ledaig.
Honey water. Kitchen spice. Fragrant. Hardly any peat. Just a hint of dry moss.
Hot and squeaky. Grainy honey sweetness, mixed with briny liquorice (salmiak). Treacle, overripe kiwi, dades. Caramel. Some distant lime. All very light and fresh.
Dry. Brine. Not very long.
- One of the best Ledaigs I've tried so far. If you're fond of the dirty Ledaigs you may want to try before you buy though.
Peat, apple, speculaas, tangerine, vanilla cookie, malt, minerals and a salty whiff. Quite fresh for a Ledaig.
Peat, tangerine, apple, gingerbread, malt and caramel. Quite sweet in a rather addictive way.
That sweetness remains next to the peat. Crême brûlée, tangerine, tea and dark chocolate.
