Upon opening the bottle and letting it stand for 30min before my first sip, I thought it was only ok. But two days later the flavour intensity was much improved with candied fruits and some pipe-smoke in the background on the finish.

This bottle is an amazing experience that I would recommend highly to anyone that is into Octomores (as I was drinking it reminded me of some Octomores (like the 7.1, but a little sweeter)). You need to be patient with this one as with most cask strength releases to allow them to evolve. And you will not be disappointed!
Does better with a little water as it is 64.8 %abv, especially the pipe-smoke in the background becomes more broader and longer in the finish.
I gave it a high score on the price as it is only $99.99cnd where I live.
    A great little gem.

A young one, and 64.8%!!!  This might very well be the highest ABV I've had in a scotch.  Tropical fruitcake with a beer chaser.  An herb mix I cant quite name.  Powerful finish, it really acts it's age here.  Overall, it reminds me of the grand A'Bunadh...

Water expands this one infinitely.  I love high ABV, so flexible with water experimentation.  I tried this as a few samples, but immediately bought a bottle.  Haven't opened it yet, but the water experimentation should be fun.
