surprise, not bad at all for a blend!
    • Nose
it stings of entry! then fruity scents, violet and creamy sweet caramel, and a little almond!
      malt and sugar.
    • Taste
sweetness of the malt, the grain does not feel too much finally, then vanilla, candy with blackcurrant!, after that it is less good with a return of alcohol, a little astringency, finally woody and grassy scent!
    • Finish
malt, grain, trace mint and violet.

I was expecting so much worse.
It is mostly a young whiskey with a high dosage of grain. Fortunately, the whole is not too alcoholic and rather easy to drink. Nasty, however, in the long run.
    79 + / 80 -
    • Nose
Nose sweet enough, round, on wood and caramel, a little nutty. quite greedy but discreet. A lot of coconut.
    • Taste
Grain in large quantities? The rendering is on vanilla, coconut, some caramel. Rather sweet overall but dry.
Not too much bitterness. Neither Sauternes nor Pinot Noir feel.
    • Finish
      Rather long for 40%
A bit alcoholic, caramel, coconut and vanilla.

This finishing experiment has gone a long way for Meyer'S. The use of any purchased wine barrels is not really succeeded here. Pity about the original blend!
    • Nose
First of all, there are knocked-out wine barrels, an unfinished prelude. In between, the nose succeeds in tipping off the rather penetrating breath from hell, and fruity, malty, peppermint-like aspects penetrate, as well as some sandalwood and cinnamon.
    • Taste
And unfortunately, unfortunately, the palate is disturbed by the destructive finishing ...
    • Finish
... and the finish becomes a sulfur-spitting dance around the actual whiskey.
