Whisky Reviews for Inchgower 1980 BD

- Dark honey, vanilla, coffee with caramel biscuits, chocolate crumble, vinous sweetness, oak on the finish. Had a sherry barrel suspected and no bourbon cask but nice to see what can come from a bourbon barrel after over 30 years. However, one must say that the old age is barely noticeable - only the strong oak in the finish suggests something. Nevertheless, a damn good malt where you can discover a lot.
