A heavily peated Speyside -
Nose: Wonderful smoky bacon, a little farmyard, no TCP or iodine. Peat smoke is more woody like a campfire.
Palate: Firm earthy peat, dry, mouthwatering, smoke coating the mouth. Some sweet notes. Spicy at the back of the throat.
Finish: Fairly long. A little spicy. Strong peat smoke that fades away.
Good presentation: natural color, 46% abv, non-chill filtered.
Overall a whisky that leaves a strong impression.
