Some dried fruits, caramel, nutty, jam, milk chocolate, sherry wood - really not bad
    • Taste
      92 92
Oily, creamy, chocolaty, good sweetness, spices, ginger, little nutmeg, hints of sherry wood - very good
    • Finish
      91 91
Long, warm, becoming more punchy, not drying

Ah. Lovely. Tropical notes. Jammy. Then nutty. Delicate sherry. Peaches, banana. Soft spices. Herbal. Plums. Minty with time
    • Taste
      90 90
Thick and heavy body. Oranges. Apricot jam. Spices. Red berries. Slightly minty again.
    • Finish
      91 91
A tad bitter. Long. Spices. Jammy. Soft sherry influence still. Good balance. A bit more dark fruits now. After a long time it evolves from dark fruits to more tropical notes. Lovely dram

Vey nice stuff, quite full bodied.
    • Nose
After the 25 year sherry this smells similar so for me this most probably is Macallan.

Slightly nutty, sherry, balsamic glaze, black cherry but also black olives, prune juice.
    • Taste
Nice attack but them some bitterness spoils it a little but it does not linger, it is also drying on the palate.

Light chocolate cake, chocolate cream, café latte (not over strong, plenty of milk), a little cream, chocolate caramels
    • Finish
approaching medium, on some strawberry bubble gum notes

A really fantastic dram. Well informed sources states that it is a Macallan and from the taste of it I tend to agree.
    • Nose
A really massive nose, lots of sherried fruits, Dates, Figs, Raisins, Canned Plums. There are also old oak and fermented tobacco (Like Davidoff Blue Mixture)
    • Taste
Enters Sweet with all the fruits from the nose, then slowly switching to a slightly harsh taste dominated by oak, tannins and bitter almonds, then again switching over towards warm spices.
    • Finish
A medium long finish going from fading spices and bitter almond to a drying taste of bitter sweetness
