The panel were warmed through with toasted gingerbread,
rhubarb crumble, caramel shortbread and cinnamon apple pie. They found softer
apricot and perfumed floral emerging with time. A lip smacking heat of Thai
ginger and fresh chilli found the panel collectively reaching for water which
opened a floodgate of softer aromas. Caramel toffee apple, toasted marshmallow
and gingernuts with buttercream icing laced with poached pears were the reward.
The heat rumbled on with chilli laced chocolate, hints of sun blush tomato and
warm sauna wood. One of those big, burly drams as comforting as a bear hug.
Drinking Tip: After a chilly walk when you need to be warmed
