Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Red grapes still on the stem, malt loaf, cloudy apple juice and a bit of charred oak in the background.
Toffee pennies and tangerine segments at first, though this soon gives
way to layers of Sherry-soaked raisins, milk chocolate and Walnut Whips.
There's a little touch of ripe banana in there too.
Finish: Big, juicy notes of orange segments. Grilled pineapple starts to appear after a minute.
Overall: Well Sherried grain with loads of personality.
