Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Red grapes still on the stem, malt loaf, cloudy apple juice and a bit of charred oak in the background.
    Palate:
Toffee pennies and tangerine segments at first, though this soon gives
way to layers of Sherry-soaked raisins, milk chocolate and Walnut Whips.
There's a little touch of ripe banana in there too.
Finish: Big, juicy notes of orange segments. Grilled pineapple starts to appear after a minute.
Overall: Well Sherried grain with loads of personality.

A wonderful colour - a very decent dram.
    • Nose
It is difficult to identify any particular scent - certaily not floral - perhaps oak?
    • Taste
Powerful - when you breathe in it almost takes your breathe away.
    • Finish
An initial sweetness giving way to a warming, lingering aftertaste that develops a surprising sharpness.
