A real 180 ° turn, whereby the "grainy" does not go away, but is ingeniously supplemented and smoothed in the mouth, after the nose and also for the first 3-4 seconds at the start, I thought it would not get beyond 86-87 maximum, Wow!
    • Nose
Super weirder OB flavor again, smells like old crispbread, cereals, lemon peel, grass, stays that way with a lot of time and something warm, carpenter's workshop, dusty book, walnut
    • Taste
Strong, walnut, chestnut, hazelnut, almonds, oak, but then suddenly, out of nowhere, beautiful, light, sweet fruit, apricot jam on delicious rye bread, litchi, gooseberry and quince jelly, forest honey and delicious, crunchy malt, ginger
    • Finish
Dried fruit, apricot, orange, honey, nice malt, ginger, long, great, one of the best finishes lately

Nose: Sweet notes, marmalade, Light oak, some dry elements.
Taste: A lot of aged sweets from the first try. In addition, perceptible dried fruit, Quite creamy taste. The aroma is quite strong.
Rating: 88 | 100 Sweet profile finish with noticeable tannins. Interesting whisky. Unfortunately, for me, I missed something in it. I think, however, such a taste aroma stroke.

    Tasting Notes by WhiskyFun.com (january 19, 2005) :

    Colour: full gold.

Nose: full sherry at very first nosing, but it then gets quite spirity. Some rubbery notes and cooked fruits but it otherwise stays quite closed. Perhaps some dried orange... Let’s try it with a few drops of water now: It works, there are lots of flowery notes developing now: cool!

Mouth: bold, powerful and quite creamy. Very nice, even when undiluted. Dried orange, marmalade, both dry and sweet wine. Lots of toffee, mocha… Alas, the water kills it, making it dry and flat. Too bad.

84 points for the very nice mouth – for once.
