Whisky Reviews for Bruichladdich 1994

- This is again a dram, which needs a little time. At first I found him disappointing ... but then he really did develop.
Beautiful whisky with many facets ...
- Flattering on the nose, the mouth is not too complex bitterness in the final is not very pleasant. In his defense, I am rarely excited by the "wine finish"
Very malty, vegetal and slightly grassy: eucalyptus, pine. Rather engaging but fairly monodirectional. After aeration the finish is felt by bringing some vinous notes. Light smoked.
Small alcoholic kick in the mouth but quickly erased by the roasted malt side that gives this smoky side glimpsed nose and present in the second part.
Average. Slight herbaceous and vinous bitterness.
