- Seems to be a Lagavulin.
- Very good whisky, but for peat aficionados only.
Notes of peat and cold cigarette ashes at first nosing. Young and a little bit spirity with zesty aromas in the background.
Powerful hot and peaty at first mouthfeel. The palate is dominated by peaty and liquorice aromas. Notes of bitumen with minerally and zesty aromas are present as well. Nice and pleasant.
Long and peaty, warming from deep inside. A little bit zesty with liquorice in the aftertaste. Becomes dry and the aftertaste reminds licking stones.
