Whisky Reviews for Amrut Fusion

- Very nice and multitaste in the body and in the end in the second dram, but in total below 80 only because of roughness just in the beginning. As for me, that's a bottle to drink at once
Sharp and alco
Fruity and smoky with a bit of barrels shadow
- One of the whiskys planning an attack on the palate. Indian beer and Scottish peat meet each other but in a positive sense. And considering the PLV, you're not doing anything wrong here. He desperately needs some water .... not much.
A pleasant fruity balance in advance and a complexity on the nose completely unexpected. He has a surprising maturity for his rather young age. Fine citrus notes with sweet caramel. Aha ... delicious.
Too strong alcohol. Full attack. Lots of wood and little toffee flavors. Clearly better after the water. Strange nutty notes and then almost flowery dried peat smoke. Some light pepper and a hint of vanilla. Drying the end too much.
Long finish drying with a peppery finish. Some tropical fruits with calming fine smoke for a longer time. That was a dram with a surprise effect. I'm surprised BUT NOT ENTHUSIASED. We will not become friends.
- I like this one better than the other Fusion batches that I've tasted.
Kaki, orange, caramel, vanilla, curry, pepper, apple and fig. With water fruitier and less spicy.
A lot of spice. Apple, toffee, dried apricot, orange and orange. Water makes it smokier, maltier and somewhat creamier, and turns down the spiciness a bit.
Kaki, apple, pepper, curry, caramel, malt and smoke.
