On the nose, quite old wood, worked, complex, fine smoke, spices and candied oranges!

some wax, some glue, some soft sherry without mold, with some fruit on candied tangerine!

A good Clynelish where needs to be said that I have not had many so far. Nevertheless asuming 185€ (LMDW price) I was expecting a bit more but I am not disappointed. Try yourself!
    • Nose
Quite spice at the beginning but more black pepper than unbalanced alcohol. Right after you get a bit of sherry but more burn rubber and some lemon. Quite complex and good but not outstanding.
    • Taste
The taste is better than the nose as the fruity sweetness is now there and brings not only fresh oranges but also honey, again pepper.
    • Finish
The finish is nose and long but also not very spectacular.

Verry complex fruity and friendly heavy sherry whisky. Apears to me that it could be coming from an old ( real ) sherrycask. It is a bit of a search for the clynelish accents . Though its a great big caracter friendly whisky. Courtesy of Remco . Dankjewel Rem, goeie Sjizzle !
