Direct hit ... in my most sensitive spot. Unfortunately, the smell does not work at all, lots of false notes. In the mouth, the whisky is bearable, the horror returns in the finish. Unfortunately, that does not work.

    blank

Tip: I only know one distillery that can do something like this: Bruichladdich! Under 12 years, under 50%, could be a sherry keg.

He joins the Bruichladdich 2002/2015 Alba Import and the Bruichladdich Islay Barley. Both were almost inedible for me.

The only good thing about the whisky is the really great incorporated alcohol that you can not feel in any way. But that was it
    • Nose
What the hell ...? Sulfur and rotten fruit! Eraser, Sylvesterböller, sweetish, peach, naturally cloudy apple juice, fermented
    • Taste
I'm scared ... for science. Soft body, mild onset, very sweet, not as bad as the nose suggested, again a lot of sulfur, but the fruit is no longer lazy, sweet peach, nectarine, pear juice, no oak
    • Finish
There it is again ... the fruit from the nose. Beneath the sulfur and the rotten notes, bittern notes are mixed, but unfortunately that does not make it any better, luckily only for a medium time

Horny, cool, horny. What a blast. The one that splits the mind, I sign. I like it incredibly well. The is made really high quality and was bottled to the point. The guys and girls at Rest & Be know exactly what they are doing. He tolerates a lot of water.
    • Nose
Unbelievable how well the 65% are involved. Very sweet with red fruits and jam. With water he becomes a bit more exotic with eucalyptus, pepper and oriental spices.
    • Taste
Hui, the palate immediately becomes extremely dry, again the sweetness. Now comes the alcohol with a decent portion of pepper. With water the malt becomes velvety soft. Still very astringent. Now comes the Cadiz and shows off its beautiful side with dark dried fruits and spices.
    • Finish
My face is violent. Now the alcohol comes to its full advantage. Does not bother so much. The finish is medium to long. A (this time pleasant) musty note is there. Another delicious red fruit sweetie. With water come in the finish the spices. I have the feeling that the aftertaste gets longer and longer from sip to sip.

The sherry note is not very surprising. A light fruity note that can not be located before something penetrates the nose, reminiscent of rotten eggs.

Then the flavor of the lazy eggs dominate before other flavors come to the fore, which I can not recognize, however, until the lazy eggs dominate the finish.

Have no desire to search for other flavors. This is not a whisky that you would like to drink more often. The worst of 6 of the tasting evening.

Nose: beautiful full-bodied nose, light sulfur, flips with cheese flavor, wet wood, autumn leaves, dark fruity sherry, some peppery spice Exactly my taste in the nose, but certainly not for every day.
Taste: full, slightly tingling, a lot of sherry and slightly earthy, fireworks smoke, on the finish even more sulfurous with lots of wood and dark roasted coffee. Add to that a nice sweetness and berry fruit from sherry. At the very end, a bit of sharpness and black pepper remain.
Insanely complex for his young age but he should not have been in the barrel any longer. Extremely, own and delicious! No overachiever as the WB rating suggests and certainly nothing for every day and anyone,

Fascinating whisky. I wonder how he can be so wonderfully complex and complex after 10 years. The barrel has done a good job. We recommend. Thanks Magge!

The complexity of this whisky was very nice, but there was a taste of roasted rice which I did not like at all!
