  1. VISION_CHEN scored this whisky 82 points Expert Junior

Smell: The first smell is licorice, cinnamon and a little peat first follow the volatile alcohol into the nasal cavity, which is a clear recognition of the bourbon barrel printed on the wine body, and the flavor of the wine body itself gradually gradually after a few minutes of standing Precipitation, attractive aroma of malt, toffee and grease, like the smell of accidentally spilling lunch on A4 paper in the office

Tasting: The mouth is light and smooth, slightly spicy, and the taste is like grabbing a handful of salty peanuts with dried chilies and putting it into your mouth. The whole is spicy and fat, and the slightly short ending rhyme stimulates the long and comfortable mouth. Back to Gan

Summary: The winery’s style allows the wine body to reveal a rich oil and malt aroma. Combining with the flavor of the bourbon barrel, it has incredible magic power. The ending rhyme seems to be short but long, and there is always a sticky and sweet feeling. In the mouth, let the people's tongue produce fluid, and the aftertaste is long

Maybe a little out of ballance, but the quality of the dominating parts still make it a nice dram.
    • Nose
      Delightfull would be covering.

Soft, floral, fruity, with a hint of lemon zestyness.

      Apple, melon and lilac flower.
    • Taste
Surprising power for a 43%, still gentle.

Rich rounded texture. Not too hot but tasty white pepper.

The fruity floral notes from the nose are present, but maybe a bit over shadowed by the spice.
    • Finish
      Medium+ lenght.

Goes a tad bit bitter, with a puff of dry smoke.

This bottle came off the back off a Glenfarclas 15 so it had to hit the ground running and it didn't disappoint.

Up there with the other great summer drams.Really enjoyed this a good edition to the Flora and Fauna range.
    • Nose
Quite grassy and floral, some light honey and a mixture of fruits like white grape, melon, lemon and green apple. also picking up some white pepper.
    • Taste
Quite smooth and again light and fruity almost like a nice white wine.It says on the bottle mellow, and i must say i agree. There is some smokiness in the background which blends in well. it's also nice and creamy with golden honey dew melon.
    • Finish
A medium floral finish with a light dusting of peat. A little dryness and a pinch of white pepper on the death.

  6. St. Pauli scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

A nice encounter with a standard bottling from the former decade. It's friendly and rounded in the nose, with malty, fruity and flowery notes. It keeps the same profile, whilst turning a bit to the bitter/sour side without becoming harsh.
    • Nose
Fruity and malty. Red apple, pear, danish pastry, apricot, buns, heather, some cinnamon and vanilla.
    • Taste
For this ABV, it's a rather powerful dram, with a little kick of pepper from the oak. It's rather malty now, on pastry and rolls with apricot marmalade, grass, and vanilla.
    • Finish
Medium length, with a sour-bitter edge. There is wood, a little spice, then some freshness of oranges and apple juice.

  7. Defeatless scored this whisky 81 points Expert Senior

    Nose:
A whif of salt, some malt and heather, sweet banana. Some wood and a touch of vanilla.

    Taste:
Grainy, sawdust, then sweet vanilla and caramel. Hint of flowers. I develops to a more bitter-sweet style.

    Body:
    Medium

    Finish:
medium length. A tad sharp. And a bit dry. The wood is prominent here.

    Price:
Don't pay over €50,- if you are not a speculator

    Presentation:
Sober and decent as the while F&F range.
