    Quite closed, roundish, with the aroma of the peel of a ripe red apple, cherry and fresh pastries, the taste with spicy sourness, slightly dry, with notes of apple pie, and chocolate with nuts, tart finish, full, oak-apple.
    An interesting and rather unexpected molt, dazzling with a palette of apple halftones from the peel of an apple to charlotte and apple jam. Good barrel work and good balance.

      Sweet, tender smoke.

      Fruity and also here a delicate smoke aroma. By adding two or three drops of water less, fruit, the sweetness remains and the smoke is more effective.

      A lot of citrus on the nose. Orange in the leading role with some fresher shades of lemon. Best a sweet nose, where later some forest fruits recover.

      More powerful than the nose, leaves towards the fruity east with hints of passion fruit, but also lychee. A little bit bitterness in the background, there are some wood spices around the corner (cinnamon, clove, star anise). Little gluh wine like warming flavors.

      Wood spices get the overtone. Bitterness is still acceptable. Long finish, winter heating.

    I feel a heavy sweetness in my nose. This reminds me of apple (yeast) cake from the tin with vanilla pudding underneath and sprinkles over it. Does something light up there? Think so. The glass shows delicate, unspectacular leg's. The 48% vol. are very well integrated and can not be touched - surprisingly.

    The start is moderate, first it tingles easily on the tongue, then the tingling intensifies something, but does not get uncomfortable. Again, I think the alcohol is well integrated. The mouthfeel is not particularly creamy, the taste already.

    On the finish, a beautiful chocolate note, not bitter, rather milk chocolate. Reminds me with the vanilla sweetness of soft ice cream with chocolate coating. The finish I would call medium-length and pleasant toasty. And now, after the second sip, there is a tender bitterness - but only very tentatively.

    A nice drop, really tasty. Today I had no time for Sherry and did not regret it.

    A definitely not bad OA Malt, but not at all my taste, from the second and third sip the sour orange comes a little more into the foreground, what more like the other bitterness.

      Ui, definitely more spicy than I met Tormore so far UA, white pepper, spicy malt, cereals, a little roasted nut, nutmeg, some grapefruit and lemon zest, vanilla, a bit of hay, almost a bit "potato", after a while and a little heat and a touch of tangerine
    • Taste
      Hay, dry and moist, vanilla, white pepper, honey comes to it now, rather brighter, nutmeg, pepper again, spicy malt, middle-aged oak with proper influence, grapefruit, lemon, the roasted nut in between, without being able to further define it, overall quite bitter with a certain general sweetness and acidity without being exactly definable, also something of the tangerine behind

      Bitter orange, grapefruit, white pepper, nutmeg, bitter young oak, some lemon, medium long, bitter-dry

    I'm a bit split. The citrus flavors are great but this distinct bitterness is less true to me. When I tried him again, he was sweeter again. I leave it at 83 points for the moment. Edit: I like it a bit better this time. 84 points.

      Green apple, lemon, orange. Sweeter and milder with time. Slight spicy note in the background but the barrel influence stays in the nose.
    • Taste
      Prickles clearly on the tongue. Then comes the sweet orange, which quickly becomes slightly bitter. That actually has a little bit of Campari. Dry occupying the mouth.

      For a long time, I have to say.

    Interesting dram with some nice complexity. Slightly balanced to the alcoholic/hot side. Not your standard flavour profile.

    Score = 83/100
    • Nose
      Spicy notes (pepper, vanilla), fruity notes (green apples, hints of citrus), Roasted notes (nuts and some caramel). It has has some hidden dark earthy notes as well which gives it some extra depth.
    • Taste
      Dried fruity notes (dark cherries), Roasted notes (dark chocolate, caramel). Smooth silky texture. It also has some darker notes, almost like some smokiness.
    • Finish
      Medium long finish, start with some cereal notes follow by slightly dry and hot finish. Spice (liquorice, aniseed) and citrus notes remain in the end.

      Candied cherry, almond, apple, caramel and orange
    • Taste
      More spicy and more smoky. Almond, caramel, cherry, orange and chestnut. A light fishy touch.

      Almond, caramel, cocoa and orange

      Initially fruity. Pears, oranges, lemon, peach. Wild mint, grasses. Sawdust, slightly dusty and mineral.
    • Taste
      Slightly peppery, then sweeter. Orange marmalade and dark chocolate. Campari. Medium long, rather dry.
