N: Talisker or Highland Park? Tastes like a combo of bourbon and sherry casks - and super active ones too so probably Talisker has the edge. Lots of sherried fruits, raisin in particular with a mineral, oily, earthiness in the bows that lurks around on the finish.
T: Rich, full, woody arrival. Chocolate and oaky sherry notes provide for a long and fruitful development which grows and grows….
F: …..chocolate, mineral, cardboard earthiness.
C: Fabulous standard expression, better than the HP12. Always makes me wish Bunnahabhain would follow Talisker’s cask management which provides a consistency in quality time and time again.
