N- Almond, walnut with sweet mint and ginger bread. Pleasant with diversify fragrant, not the usual maple and vanilla oriented bourbon. P- Spicy and tart, almond again with grassy notes. Herbaceous, high rye, not easy on first sip, but were quite nice on the follow up. Light texture that works well with the taste.
F- Medium, dry with touch of bitter, dry roots perhaps. A good variant of bourbon with unconventional style and profile.
This has been on my wish list for a log time and i eventually saw it in my local whiskey shop, getting harder to get hold of apparently. The wait was worth it, this is a really nice and complex bourbon, it wasn't cheap, but it wasn't expensive either.
