Overall, it is on the fruity-sweet-slightly spicy side. I would like to call him. I am missing something (acid?) That carries or balances the sweetness, depending on the shape of the day it becomes somewhat artificial-chewing gum. In this respect it is a bit unbalanced, but overall it gets a "good".
    • Nose
Cider, lemon flour, fresh fruit salad (local "standards" plus mango and kiwi), then develops in the direction of Tropifrutti - Hubba Bubba - and ... I can't figure out what that means ... [lengthy internet search for "strawberry confectionery"] ... exactly: Fritt Strawberry Chewing Strip! Every now and then a hint of muff comes up. Some marzipan and shortbread.
    • Taste
First of all, very artificially sweet and indefinitely fruity. Maybe a little heated. Has a one-dimensional effect on me. Again an impression of Hubba Bubba. After a while you get a welcome impression of light oak spice and it becomes full-bodied.
    • Finish
A bit thin at first. Then it becomes warm (or hot?) But not particularly durable. Compliant. Fruity sweetness sticks to the palate. But this remains rather superficial. After a few sips, a nutty oak wort builds up.

    Nice whisky with citrus note.
    • Nose
sweet, vanilla, citrus, some gum, artificial, fruity, but not unsophisticated, just the citrus note, then a little spice cupboard, quite abrupt.
    • Taste
nice, rather strong, sweet, sparkling, spicy
    • Finish
quite short, a little tart, fruity, the artificial citrus note looks over again, the palate is occupied.

Tasty, especially in the mouth. All in all, he is inconspicuous and does not stand out from the crowd! 75 points
    • Nose
Sour, green apple. Shortly thereafter, a sweet mixes in, the apple turns red and with the cinnamon, which is also added, I think of apple cinnamon snails in puff pastry. No alcohol smelling. At some point, a malt note and a little bit of oak join in, not intrusive, but noticeable. Actually quite interesting, but somehow it does not quite grab me.
    • Taste
Sweet onset, then takes over an aromatic tobacco note, pipe tobacco. A hint of cinnamon in the mouth, too, becomes drier and spicier.
    • Finish
Medium in every way. Some malt and spice remain in the mouth, the sweetness disappears first.

The quality of Arran is constant (in the positive) and no longer to demonstrate. This again the case here, even if the mouth is a bit soft for my taste.
    • Nose
Typical Arran in bourbon cask: deep on fruits (yellow and green apples, and pear on top). A very slight dry grass smoke behind these fruits. The dry, dusty apple develops over time.
    • Taste
Sweet and easy to access. The reduction seems to be confirmed in my eyes, because it's still a little soft here. The fruity flavors (apple and pear, always) seem shy and weak.
    • Finish
Average. A little more spirited than the mouth. Some spices tingle the tongue. The fruity smoke lingers a little. The apple is always present.
